Custom made and fitted bookcases
This matching pair of bookcases were custom made to the clients exacting design in 40mm solid Chene Clair. They were then fitted against an existing skirting board and beading. Three coats of natural mineral oil and a little wax brought out the grain and will protect the wood.

Solid oak kitchen
Made to the clients own specification this solid oak kitchen was made using traditional mortise and tenon joints throughout and then clad in exterior quality 19mm plywood.
The top was made in 45mm solid oak and finished with a professional grade lacquer to resist heat and moisture.

Solid oak shop front commission
For this piece of work we were asked to remove the existing ancient shop front and copy it to comply with strict local planning regulations. Working from one on site visit and many photos we were able to replicate the existing structure in solid dark oak and then install it. The glass used was 14mm thick argon filled double glazing units to maintain to look of the original thin single glazing. A solid ( very heavy! ) solid oak door was also made to the clients own design.

Solid Oak Kitchen Worktop
We were asked to supply and fit an extensive range of solid oak worktops to a new build house in the historic town of La Souterraine.
The clients had designed a beautiful modern kitchen in a subtle creme colour. After producing several samples which included solid light oak and solid
dark oak with various finish options the clients decided upon a light variant of dark oak with our professional lacquer finish.
This ultimate finish option provides a heat and water resistant finish with a satin sheen.

Bespoke Oak Coffee Table
This was a recent commission by a longstanding customer or ours. They asked us to interpret a design of their old dining table and create a bespoke coffee table to match in style and colour. The table is made from solid chêne clair and is 90 cm long , 45 cm high and 40 cm deep - with a generous 40mm thick table top. It was made using traditional joints and will last a life time , if not more!

Bespoke Window Seat and
Cupboard
We were asked to design and build a cupboard under the stairs, a window seat and a cover for the electric meter. All the work was done in dark oak and the clients wanted a clean uncluttered finish - so apart from the hinges all the joinery and fixings are invisible.
The client was very happy with the end result as you can see from the kind email they sent...
