Oak Skirting

Solid oak skirting from LeCharmeDeChene is available in a range of sizes and profiles, including bull nose, Belgian and ogee.

All of our skirting is manufactured using French oak and is supplied unfinished ready for staining.

It would seem an obvious choice to fit oak skirting when fitting a solid oak floor however, oak skirting looks outstanding in carpeted rooms too (and you'll never have the tiresome task of painting skirting again!).

We can now also supply you with solid oak architrave to match your skirting - this looks great with our solid oak ledged doors.

Arabesque Skirting

The Arabesque skirting profile evokes a Moorish feeling of the palace at Granada and the Great Mosque of Istanbul

This ornate skirting is produced from our standard, unfinished, high quality solid oak and lends itself to treatment with dyes or waxes such as Osmo Polyx-Oil.

Bullnose Skirting

Bullnose skirting is our simplest profile and one of the most popular.

Where you're looking for oak skirting that doesn't draw attention to itself, the bullnose profile offers fantastic value, with easy fitting (simple to mitre) and is less prone to damage from vacuum cleaners and general knocks and bumps.

Ogee Skirting

When most people think of traditional skirting boards, the picture they have in their minds is probably the Ogee profile.

We sell more Ogee skirting than any of the other profiles, amost certainly because customers are trying to match the existing skirting in their homes.

By keeping our prices low, we make it much easier for you to use solid oak skirting rather than MDF - I think we all know which will give the better finish!

Yorkshire Skirting

A little more ornate than the standard Ogee profile, Yorkshire solid oak skirting is taken from a popular traditional design common throughout Yorkshire in the 1800s.

Like all of our solid oak skirting, the boards are supplied unfinished, ready for treatment with dyes and wax or indeed for priming prior to painting.

Belguim Skirting

With a typically understated Flemish design, our Belgian profile solid oak skirting falls somewhere between the plain look of Bullnose and the ubiquitous Ogee.

If you're after something just a little bit different and yet not "in your face", this is the skirting board for you.
